Thanksgiving Gratitude

Posted By Don Sumner on Nov 26, 2014 |

Every Thanksgiving, we feel gratitude for wonderful families, fortunate events, caring friends, amazing communities (both online and off), and all the gifts of life that we’re so lucky to have.

After a harvest spent trying to outrun the rains, and the generally frantic activity of any autumn winery, it’s good to gather around a big table, open a few bottles of wine, and start trading stories while we eat.

This is the time of year for memories: from spring’s first buds, through summer’s riot of leaf and fruit, and fall’s heavy vines and golden colors, this is where we rest for a moment and reflect on what we’ve done and what is before us, yet to do.

Seth Godin writes:

A modern Thanksgiving…celebrates two things: The people in our lives who give us the support and love we need to make a difference, and…

The opportunity to build something bigger than ourselves, something worth contributing. The ability to make connections, to lend a hand, to invent and create.

We hope your holiday is filled with all the gifts of the season: gratitude, celebration, nature’s bounty, and abundance. Thanks for joining us online, thanks for your support, but most of all, thank you for all the gifts you bring to the world.
